This beach chair frame is now available in your choice of 2 woods.  Yellow balau (also known as shorea) is a dense, oil rich tropical hardwood.  It is very strong with a weight capacity over 250 pounds. These weigh about 16 pounds.  Or, new for 2023 we are excited to offer a short run made in premium, plantation grown Teak.  Teak, commonly used on yachts and the highest quality patio furniture, offers the best weather resistance and is also noticeably lighter than the balau wood.  Whichever you choose, you just found the most stylish chair on the beach.
